Hey fellas, I just returned from a 3 day business trip to beautiful St. Louis. Despite what Meat said, where I was in West County, the Women were fairly decent. Good Milfage. Tomorrow I'm off to Des Moines. Yipee. Anyway, here are the July ratings, courtesy of Larz. Mac & Meat are getting absolutly torched by WMVP. The other WSCR shows closed the gap with WMVP. For Persons 25-54 (that's both Men & Women combined)... For all day/all week/Mon-Sun 6:00am-Midnight: WSCR is 17th with a 2.4 share WMVP is 18th with a 2.3 share For Mon-Fri 6:00am-10:00am: WMVP is 10th with a 3.4 share WSCR is 11th with a 3.2 share For Mon-Fri 10:00am-3:00pm: WMVP is 12th with a 2.8 share WSCR is 20th with a 1.8 share For Mon-Fri 3:00pm-7:00pm: WMVP is 17th with a 2.6 share WSCR is 19th with a 2.4 share For Mon-Fri 7:00pm-Midnight: WSCR is 17th with a 2.8 share WMVP is 20th with a 2.1 share For Saturday & Sunday from 6:00am-Midnight: WSCR is 21st with a 2.2 share WMVP is 31st with a 0.9 share For JUST MEN 25-54... Monday-Sunday 6:00am-Midnight WMVP is 6th WSCR is 7th For JUST WOMEN 25-54... Monday-Sunday 6:00am-Midnight WSCR is 37th WMVP is 41st Over all, you would have to call this battle a draw. Except on weekends where WSCR has a decent advantage (and maybe weekday middays where WMVP has the stronger edge), both stations are pretty evenly matched, with both just barely beating out the other in ratings. |

Scorehead, I suppose the answer to Mac-Spiegs initial rating is to replace them with Tom Shaer and Jim Memolo. |

Keep in mind that "The Danny Mac Show" didn't start until June 15th. I think a better thermometer concerning Mac & Matt Spiegel's ratings in middays on 670 The SCORE will be in the Summer Ratings book when it's released in a month or two. Other than that, it's basically a draw between both sports talkers in Chicago. |

I'm SHARK, not Rob Feder, his successor Lewis Lazare, and Phil Rosenthal. Besides, when they release the Arbitron ratings, the "Top 10" is always listed, and NOT one Chicago sports talk radio show on either station is ever in the paper. When the ratings are published, you'll know what I mean. |

He's a dick, but he had one of the better rated shows on the station. |

I think Murph was beating what used to be called "Tirico & Van Pelt" and is now known as "The Scott Van Pelt Show" featuring Ryen Russillo on ESPN Radio... |

I am not here to defend Mac, but the guy has been on the air for 40 days? Would ratings reflect any of that? Good or bad? |
