One piece of constructive advice (this is given having never seen the blog) is not to tell people that you have another nugget of information about the Bears or Bulls or some popular current thing going on and the listener needs to go onto the blog to read about it. This makes it seem like you are OK with making the radio show something short of the best that it can be.

Instead, why not blog about things that appeal to niche audiences and are of interest to you -- comic books, wrestling, foods you had at family get togethers -- work it into the conversation during the show, say you don't have any time to go into it further but if people are interested they can check out your blog.

That advice is way too good and sensible for Larry to use it though. He LOVES doing the group therapy look at me and talk to me because I'm on the radio thing. It makes him feel important and he probably needs that after getting whacked on his ass to off hours crap a few months ago when Mac came. He does get more intelligible callers than B&B though even if they are talking about comic book stuff that I have no clue about or fantasy football advice when I don't play that shit. Yes it's stuff for the blog but then he'd have to program his show and work harder. He's turned it into self help for the host.

Larry must get some sort of incentive with how many 'hits' his blog does - no other reason to promote it as much as he does.

Doesn't that pretty much eliminate all the topics he likes to talk about on air?

North used to peddle his northTOnorth.com site all the time to make money selling gear and other crap to butter up sponsors. Holmes is doing it to feed his ego.

"It was really cool! It was awesome! It felt really good going in and when I pulled it out, the rolled up piece of paper came out of my ass kind of a golden brown, a little moist but not too soggy, and just the right hint of shit aroma (although some people have told me the blog smells like shit even BEFORE I shoved it up there)! I texted all my buddies about it right away and then me and my Facebook friends talked about it, too! Wanna join in the conversation? Call, text or e-mail me right now and tell me what you think of shoving rolled-up papers up your ass! Love to hear from ya! This is going to be an awesome segment!"
