B&B on Friday, followed by Paruch & Rosenbloom on Saturday, were the two ugliest radio shows the Score has ever run. They are absolutely reveling in the defeat of Chicago Olympic's bid.

How did the Score morph into the anti-Daley, anti-investment, anti-government, anti-labor, anti-Chicago sounding board? How did Andy Shaw become a hero? I thought this nonsense was confined to bitter Sun-Times letter writers.

It's going to be a while before I listen to this station again. There's plenty else out there. I'm not boycotting. I'm not protesting. I'm just beginning to realize that it is a station of childish cynicism hosted by meatballs talking to meatballs. I don't want to be associated with this nonsense.

Beautiful. Rosenbloom just called the Chicago Olympics delegation "Ugly Americans" again.

The whole damned thing was WIRED for Rio from the start......How Chicagoans couldn't see that coming is astounding.

I think it is funnier than hell that fools like you, Mully and Mac so wanted this bid to win. For what? More corruption, higher taxes and 2/3 weeks of events NO ONE really cares about?

I'm glad we came in 4th, it makes it funnier listening to the crying.

Mac was all for it due to improvements to the infrastructure....there are a lot of lasting improvements in Atlanta due to Olympic construction, but the City was hardly transformed...

Why build some dumb assed erector set stadium in Washington Park just to tear down....Hasn't Daley always screamed for a second N.F.L. team until the Soldier Field deal was struck with the Bears.....why not build a genuine stadium....and attract a team like the Jacksonville Jaguars......now you have 10 more N.F.L. games here on a yearly basis that the City can tax the hell out of.

How the fuck did Atlanta get the Olympics but Chicago didn't? Atlanta is the biggest armpit in the Country. Downtown is a joke, can't walk the streets at night, more crime that Chicago, no culture, the list goes on and on.

Less corruption and fewer murders come to mind.

Even the IOC knows Daley has never built anything on or below budget.

I have been to Atlanta a lot.

There is nothing wrong with Atlanta.

ONLY AND ABSOLUTE PROVINCIAL DUNCE COULD NOT SEE THIS OLYMPIC BID WAS WIRED FOR RIO FROM THE START.....but then again you are the guy that thinks Mike North is some sort of deal closer and schmoozer.

Truth be told, there were things rarely heard on a sports talk radio station even before Chicago was first eliminated in Friday's IOC vote in Copenhagen for the 2016 Summer Olympics among callers & hosts alike. It was more than just a sports story concerning what happened Friday, and there was a great deal of spirited debate on both sides of the argument regarding Chicago's Olympic bid coming up short. It wasn't just "Boers & Bernstein" and the Saturday SCORE wakeup call with Steve Rosenbloom & Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch that discussed the city's Olympic bid, the despicable beating to death of that Fenger High School student, the fact city employees had to accept unpaid furlough days in hopes of balancing the city budget, etc. Jason Goff, who was hosting a rare overnight show on 670 The SCORE late Friday night/early Saturday morning in place of the "Dan Patrick Show", and even Joe Ostrowski & John "Rock" Mamola last night following the White Sox/Tigers' game on WSCR mentioned it...It was more than sports, guys. It was a hard news story that also affected the psyche & hopefully served as a wakeup call to Chicagoans everywhere.

Have you been to downtown Atlanta? Did you walk around the city? Hell, even the people who live in the surrounding suburbs of Atlanta make fun of the city. It's a fucking dive.

Bob, Surely you will admit that North's reputation is that of a schmoozer & wheeler dealer. His entire career was build by Mike North selling Mike North. He was & is a self made Man
For what it's worth, I'm not much of North fan anymore.

This obnoxious clown never realized he did not have to morph into some character that he had to sell.
People loved the Hot Dog guy and softball player....
The Vegas Act he decided to become is the utter crap he was shoving down people's throats.
This guy has pushed the envelope as far as it can be pushed....he has tired us out.

1) Mac and Mulligan were all for the Olympics, Hanley and the Boers/Bernstein show were not.
2) Andy Shaw is an excellent reporter.
3) The Score has a lot of liberal's hosting show, I think all of them, in fact, are. Some of them have a problem with corruption though. Thank God their jobs are to talk sports though.
4) Rosenbloom is always extremely negative. It's not shocking to hear him to make negative comments.

I agree with you on Houston. But I lived in the Dallas Fort Worth are for 2 years & I could live there again. Dallas at least has a decent downtown area. I would never ever live in Atlanta. But thats just me.
