If anyone's up early this Sunday morning, some 45,000 runners will be pounding the pavement and about 1 million spectators will line various Chicago neighborhoods for the annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Coverage of Sunday's marathon will be carried LIVE on NBC5 and 670 The SCORE respectively starting at 7a. NBC5's Paula Faris will headline TV coverage, while WBBM Newsradio 780's morning sports anchor Josh Liss will be on loan to WSCR to anchor exclusive radio coverage of the annual race starting & finishing in Grant Park. I don't know about you folks, but a marathon on radio? It is different from more traditional sports like baseball, football, basketball & hockey, but I'm not so sure it's meant for radio...

Good Luck W_Z! I should be starting my day when you cross the finish line.

Listening to running on the radio, Who the fuck thought of this innovative idea? First off its a bunch of Kenyans that nobody's heard of, not even their family. Second how do you make this interesting... Hey that skinny fuck just past that other skinny fuck for the lead! Ooh.. you didn't see that coming! And by the way somebody needs to tell these anorexic Roadrunners we have FOOD in Chicago, EAT SOME.

Driving 26 miles is a pain in the ass for me. I can't beleive people subject themselves to this. But best of luck anyway to all.

Well, considering at least one board member is participating in it, I would say yes...
