Here we have the World Series champions, and they give us the name-dropping Barney Fife for play-by-play. That wasn't bad enough, so they throw in Chris Singleton. Plus the almost-daily assault on the ears by Jesse Rogers and Mike North (we already know North's going to have a role in the broadcasts, and I'm sure JR will, too). I thought the point was to try and draw more listeners, not drive the precious few you have away. |

what the hell are you talking about? north or jesse have no part in the broadcasts...especially jesse. north may be on once or twice a season to promote the station, but that's it. you really thing rosen is going to let jesse get that close to his baby (the sox)? no way. |

Rosen gives Jesse a ton of airtime, so you’re way off. Besides, don’t think you’re in the clear just because Rogers lost out on the pregame gig. I’m very nervous that the slot in between B&B and Rongey is going to be filled by Jesse. They’re not going to restructure contracts with B&B, and there’s no need for a 1 hour pregame 6 days a week. Someone else is going to be on the air. My guess is we’ll hear that moron, possibly on a daily basis in addition to the weekend trainwrecks… |

Ah, guest, look up this old song for us and play it to yourself hourly: Fool If You Think It's Over. |

That's the fact of it. If it gets ANY worse than Chris Rongey, it would be only OG or LH. I'll be tuning in around the beginning September, and not before. |

If you actually believe Jesse is a better broadcaster than Rongey, you must really be his PR guy. I don't give a damn what the salary offer is/was, it doesn't get any worse than Jesse Rogers. Most of us were thrilled the job went to Rongey instead of Rogers, not the other way around. |

The only microphone Jesse should be behind is a Mr. Microphone. Jesse doesn't just suck he swallows. |

Though they work at different stations, I think the worst possible combo one could assemble would be Jesse Rogers and Ben Finfer. Jesse is so fucking dumb, not even our poet laureate's description could do it justice. Finfer, conversely, has a few functioning brain cells, but the guy is such an arrogant punk that I'd rather listen to Jim Rome replays if forced to choose between the two. |
