To all the "Mr. Spock"-like,non-alarmists,no "fire & passion" supporters out there, here is a great quote from Doug Buffone:"kiss my ass and call it a love story!"

Yes,they are 90% emotion & 10% analytical. This is Chicago, that is what we want! You red wine sippers who like to call "my kind" MEATBALLS, hey Kiss my red,Italian ass!

A loss like today hurts me,I get emotional. I need Doug & Ed to talk from the gut & not calmy break it down!

I'd love to see these two roam the sidelines for the rest of the season in preparation for the arrival of Coach Cowher. IB will kill me for saying that, but they couldn't do much worse than Lovie Smith.

Who is "we?"

I'll take a pass on two old men screaming about a fucking game. There are more important things to get that bent outta shape about than a damn football game. I like hosts who understand that.

for those of you wanting Cowher...if he brings a real OL and DL with him, ok. Otherwise, waste of time. Lovie should stay, Jerry should go.

this is not what we want!!! , it's old ,tired and foolish. incessant yelling and screaming and the WE gotta do this ,WE got to do that attitude, has long been played out.

It's what I want, purely from an entertainment aspect. Their show doesn't fix anything or explain anything. I think that there should be several different types of Bears shows. One's like Doug & OB that you can get a player's perspective and hear the...ahem..."fire and passion". There should also be one's like Zack's or even Ben Finger's and Howard Griffith (bland compared to DB & OB), but there is some good ananlysis there.

Every show adds a bit of something to be consumed. Doug & OB is just the most entertaining, IMO. I especially got a kick out of one of the callers telling Doug when he met him through the years and Doug responded by saying: "Hmm, I was probably drunk."

True story, I try to recite the starting lineup for the 89 Cubs...

Walton in Center....Sandberg at 2nd....Grace at first...Dawson in right...Law at 3rd....Berryhill behind the plate....and thats usually how far I get because I forget and then start over...

That show is pure spew & venting. I for one enjoy the hell out it. You can have analysis the rest of the week.

(Of course, Loho came on right afterwards last night and announced that Lovie simply must go. There must be a difference in how the topic's presented, because I was in no mood for Loho's version...)

I got an idea: get a head coach who grows into managing his coordinators, instead of remaining a ___ (fill in blank) coordinator who knows virtually nothing about the other side of the ball. Bring in guys with him who can run the defense and offensive coordinator slots (Terry Shea anyone? John Shoop? Who at Halas right now is seriously critiquing what Ron Turner does now?)
