Bascially calling for the man's job and exhibiting a ton of venom on his show. I can't recall him being this vicious when he covered the beat for the Score.

And telling callers to shut up? Damn, even B&B don't act like that.

And don't get me wrong, as I think Lovie's done a pisspoor job this year, but it sounds like Holmes has about the same amount of contempt for Lovie that he had for Kenny Williams for pretty much the entire 1st half of the year.

Urkel's a dipshit, but Lovie should not be a big-market coach.

That's interesting. I have never used the population of a metropolitan area when considering the quality of a coach. I may have to start doing that.

Part of the reason why LoHo is so PO'd at Lovie Smith is this now infamous phrase "Trust me". Since the Bears' head coach gave those words, the Bears are a .500 team over the last couple of seasons since Lovie coached the Bears to Super Bowl XLI down in Miami...

There is absolutely no connection there whatsoever.

The number three market nationwide, and second-largest market in the NFL, and you get Lovie Smith, Dick Jauron, etc?

When he was a regular Bears beat guy, Lovie treated Lawrence, like Lawrence treats his listeners.

He would talk down to him, and even ignore him on occasion when Lawrence asked questions.

Are you saying that LoHo is *giggle*:

?

It could be the case if he had more listeners than friends, a few board members and station management.

Stating two unrelated facts does not automatically create synergy between the two.

I'm still unclear what your point is, or if in fact you even have one beyond "Lovie stinks" followed by an unrelated factoid.

I wasn't trying to create synergy. Just taking two shots at two people I despise in the Chicago sports scene.

I don't know. Does Dick Jauron belong in a market like Buffalo? Or Kansas City? Or Jacksonville? Would you have him coach the Giants? The idea does hold some water...

Actually, it holds shit for water.

I wouldn't call Dick Jauron to manage my cat's fucking water bowl ... but that has nothing to do with "market". Players aren't inherently different because they're being coached in Buffalo, New York, San Fransisco, Miami, etc. Is Jauron not "New York" tough? :?

C'mon ... at least CHF said he was mostly blowing steam about two peckerheads.

I wonder if this has something to do with race.

Loho should despise himself for being the worst host on the score. He is holding back Goff a far superior on air talent.
