I didn't mention anything about MMQ.

The fact of the matter is, I'm just trying to point out that none of the people in the media can actually see in to the future. So faulting them for that is silly.

Find me a single guy who predicts everything correctly, and I will be very surprised. Very VERY surprised.

Well put. Walt, your whole shtick is abusing the English language and exploiting hindsight to browbeat anyone who's got an opinion about sports different from yours. I suspect your raging hard-on for failure would prevent you from actually enjoying a team's success.

You're the one who was mad people can't see in to the future, and I'm the meathead?

Like I said, if you are going to rate sports people for how good they are at predicting team records, I'd like to see who your "perfect" subject is.

Actually almost everyone said the secondary would be terrible. Mulligan specifically even said a few guys should not be in the in NFL and they got cut.

Many questioned the D line as well and some (ME SPECIFICALLY) noted that Tommie HArris could not even walk in training camp on day 1, might be a huge problem.

While others expected Cutler INT's, noboyd expected this many, especially red zone picks.

And the worst unexpcted occurance, was the lack of running game. This was supposed to be greatly improved due to Cutler. This is what noboyd saw coming.

You asked who had seen success in my lifetime. And the White Sox got a ring in my lifetime.

And what the fuck does that have to do with sports heads having the ability to see in to the future?

I expected a greatly improved offensive line.

It turns out that Pace was probably a horrible signing as it moved Williams to RT, which has probably affected his development. Schaffer at RT and Williams at LT with Beekman at guard probably would have been the better group.

Do yourself a favor and stop. Arguing with him is the equivalent of smashing your head into a brick wall repeatedly. And you might actually have fun smashing your head.

Agree. If we are mathematically eliminated, I want to see the line they want next year? Williams LT, Schaeffer RT, Beekman? RG? C? Frank O? LG??

Actually I seem to remember Hanley uttering some concerns with regard to many of these areas (particularly the o-line & secondary)...but ultimately Hanley would defer to the much louder Mully since he is the supposed "expert".
