OK, for awhile Muprh was taking quite a beating here and on the Air, but Murph is the best host they have for talking baseball. Sox and Cubs.
I disagree bigfan. He doesn't talk baseball, unless he feels a need to justify using his "Bud Selig refused to talk to us" drop. He doesn't talk Sox. He talks
ad nauseum Cubs, even when there isn't anything to talk about.
(s)Murf has earned every beating he's gotten. Case in point, today's
good show. I had an appointment today & when I left (about 5 minutes into his show) he was talking about Pryor's arm. I got back at 1:18 & despite only have 2 hours on the air he was
still rambling on the same subject!
I clicked off at that point to make a few phone calls so I don't know if he ever did mention the White Sox. Now I realize (s)Murf bills himself as a "Cub fan for Cubs fans" but didn't the fact that the World Series champions haven't been able to put their projected starting line up on the field this far into spring training even warant a passing note?

Give the guy credit for knowing the game, taking calls and watching almost every pitch of every game. Once again all Cubs and Sox games.
Again I'll argue with you here. I don't believe that he knows the
game. note: hammering minutiae into a greasy spot doesn't count
I'll grant you he does try really hard to project the "I'm just a fan but I know better than anyone else" air, but if you listen closely a majority of his analysis is regurgitated from what he reads in the paper or hears on the radio. He then gives us his opinion on what someone else has already said.
