It's been a great ride. I mean, I know I told everyone at ESPN 1000 that I should've been Jay Mariotti's co-host when the 9-noon show first went local a few years back. Not only had I been working at 1000 for almost 3 weeks at the time but I had a stellar resume from my days of doing 1 minute sports updates on Sporting News Radio, and One on One sports. Imagine my amazement when they chose Silvy. So I did what any good co-worker would do, I went to the bosses and complained, told them I'm better than Silvy. Who cares that Silvy had been with the station for like 8 years.....I'm Mike Ogulnick! What a joke they didn't listen. So over the years I held a grudge against all those that passed me up...Silvy, Carmen, Dickerson, just to name a few. I went behind their backs all the time to the bosses, but for some reason I didn't get anywhere. I'm rambling, so I'll wrap this up. Thanks to all the loyal OG fans, and know this, I deserved better! Because I always deserve better...even if I never worked hard a day in my life. Later.
