doing sports on WGN Radio.

Heard about 30 seconds and his sports reports were just as annoying as his updates used to be.

 Sorry....

Mac has coined that corny Comcast Sportsnet Roundtable show as The Jokers Wild and it stuck...funny now that since Mac works part time for the Trib he is now eligible for that show.

I saw George Ofman on the aforementioned "Chicago Tribune Live", a.k.a. "The Joker's Wild", the other night on Comcast SportsNet. I know you're happy for me... Ofman bears a strong resemblence to actor Kelsey Grammer from "Frasier"...

I'm suprised CTL brought him back on that show...last I had heard, he was given a "cooling off period" for saying that Chris Henry's death was "natural selection".

Yea. I'm sure CSN doesn't have the archive of this online because the comment was so outrageous and did not pick up the media attention that it would in certain towns with sports media watchdogs.

I had a friend who was interning there during the Fall who made me aware of it. They have the show tapes in the video room unedited, so I'm sure he can find it for me.

George Offman, pictured below, hosted the wildly popular television game show 'THE JOKERS WILD' from Jan 1976 to August 1976.........until he was replaced by Jay Leno.
