The Sox will be on every day. I noticed that Mark Vasko has gone to sporting news radio. Heard him doing an update an 4am the other night. So I guess they can have Holmes or Zack do updates. But maybe Bloomberg will get that regular gig. Anyway with the Hockey season ending they will have to find work for Jesse, Holmes, and Zac. Or they all just become part time week end guys.

Mix 'n Match Holmes, Drinky, & Goff to fill in around the games. As to the rest....

Zzzz... sweeping up after the broadcast day ends
Jessie... holding the dustpan

It shouldn't really be that difficult arranging programing around White Sox games. Looking at the April schedule alone, this is how gametimes shake out

Apr
4 games begin around 7pm
2 games, 7:30pm
7 games, 1 pm
3 games, 12pm
1 game, 6pm
5 games, 9pm
1 game, 2:30pm

Boers and Bernstein/Murph only have their show bumped five days in April, whereas most weekend games occur early in the afternoon. I'm sure not many will care about Murph anyways. Since typical late night shows will shift between Rogers, Holmes, whomever else, we're not really missing much.

I guess they will have time to mix and match these guys in. Plus the Bears start camp in July so Zac and Holmes can go back to licking Bears players.

The "Hooded One" (or is he back to the "Golden" Vasko?) has been AWOL for a while now...

I know. Did you read what you quoted from me? He's on sporting news radio now. I heard him doing updates in the wee hours of the mourning about a week ago.

Yes. And reading your message it sounded to me like you were just discovering that fact Vasko was gone by saying that Zack or Holmes could do updates. I must've mis-read your post. No biggie. As a side note, glad to hear that Moose is back on the air. I found him to be a solid update guy.

Monday is a very common off day in baseball. That and Thursday. Maybe Doug can do a one-day-a-week offseason Bear report?

I'd still like to see Abbatacola & Goff get a regular evening gig filling in around Sox games. You could put Unka Fuzzy on weekends. God knows except for Baum/Olken & "Duck & Run" the SCR weekend programming looks like a spring training scorecard.

I was thinking more along the line of a roster full of personnel with either no chance of making the "big leagues" or desperately in need of more seasoning but that works too :-)
