With the use of new people meters, ESPN is actually better off today then they were a year ago. If you don't believe me, ask Mac.
They are a close second to the SCORE in their target demo of men, 25-54. So they are making more in ad dollars, and paying out less to the talent. (Carmen is prolly a $500K a year cheaper than Mac)
This may change in the near future, but overall they are happy with the decision that they made.
At least for now..
