The guy is a sidekicking loud mouth who should get paid to add uninformed outlandish comments to his partners factual info.

I believe that if AM1000 would reunite Jiggetts & North in afternoons & promote the show that they would have a serious chance of beating B&B in the ratings.

North's last radio show could not beat M&M. There is no way North would beat B&B in the afternoons.

Maybe, but the only way this would happen is if North would actually stick to only talking sports, but we all know he just is not going to do that. He sincerely believes people want to hear him talk about all different types of topics.

If the Monsters went to work for ESPN radio, North would have no choice but to stick to sports.

Sounds like Jiggs is doing a respectable job (though I'm not about to tune in to find out). He's not ballsy enough to develop these opportunities on his own. My guess is you'll see North find yet another sucker - maybe FOX to give them WPWR in the morning. North will take over as the driver, and the show will last less than six months.

I don't know. A lot of people at different stations think there's mass appeal. But then success slips out of his hands.

1. Done reasonably, this guy could be some sort of a Don Inmus.
2. You could have set him up with a more generic talker to break the ice, but neither candidate, Buffone (who didn't want to do it,) nor Fred (who had limits put on him, besides) weren't that talker, nor was the Score the place to do that.
3. The right time for any of this was when he first went solo. Irons were hot as it were.
4. Now its the wasted podcast, the wasted morning/cable show, and the soon to be wasted
morning foray.

I really don't want to see a simulated hot dog stand studio, with North barking weird opinions from the cook's area.

The only similarity between North and Imus is they both got into trouble for making offensive comments. North's understanding of anything outside the realm of sports is too limited to build a talk show around.
