So today I am catching the last hal hour of the show and they have Harvey Wells on and go on the whole "dey should have just paids me's". Repeated how every station should have a million dollar talent, regardless of ratings and should just look back on the persons (him) history of success.......then not less then ten minutes later, Pappy is saying how he talked to Jerry Reinsdorf and they were discussing Jermaine Dye. JR thinks Dye should have taken a one year deal to prove himself. Pappy agrees saying, "he was awful in the 2nd half and sometimes you just have to take less money and prove yourself all over again".
Ok....let me see if I have this right, pappy doesnt have to be accountable for 5 years of bad radio and should have continued to make huge coin because he had success in the past, but because JD had one bad half, he has to prove himself over all over again and take a pay-cut....hmmmm....wow.
