Hold on everyone! I am talking Old Northy! Not pompous Jag Baggy North! I am talking about a guy who lets it fly and we sort the pieces out later! McNeil is the closest thing left to that at this point, but even has his limits and bridges he doesn't want to burn. It's what made North great, he had no connections, no bridges to burn, no agendas. Everyone coming up is graduate of some broadcasting school and thinks it more important to do an interview the way some professor taught you than to ask the questions every guy in a bar wants to know! |

We can't even get rid of the one we got. Why would we want another? All an "Old Northy" is is a douchebag seedling, waiting for the right conditions to bloom into a full grown douchebag. |

Some people just can not handle success. It inflates their chests, while turning them into arrogant, preaching buffoons. It's like a personality disorder. North is one of those people. |

You want to live vicariously through the antics of a dope. Don't you have a town drunk, or a ne'er do well, to watch instead? Seriously, who needs another loudmouth clown sprouting nonsensical sport opinions? Because after he ceases to amaze that way, he'll claim to be more black than blacks, and all the other dumbass shit that's made the current North implode into his bullshit. Seriously. I'd rather have someone, let's say you, become a regular caller with nonsense views. You can adopt the Rusty motif, or maybe opt to sound like Wild Bill (RIP). That way, there's no media starling, and when you get tired, you can just sit back and chill for a few months. |
