I was on myspace, used linked in and have seen facebook and for the most part, facebook and myspace all have polite and positive messages.
No wonder guys like Silverman, Dan Mcneil, Holmes and others like it. It must be great when you have 2000 people kissing your ass.
Even heard Mcneil today say something about almost all the posts on his facebook page are nice.
I am not the media expert here, but pretty sure one thing they say in the media is that you want to get half the people to disagree with you.
The very existance of the haters is why this site will not go away because even those that don't like hearing bad things about themselves have to check in occasionally.

If facebook is Mac's new choice for a medium than have at it. I never thought that Mac was the type of guy that wanted 15 guys blowing him at a time but thats all I see on his facebook page.

I have to say I have made the switch to his show with Speigs, but I want to throw up everytime he posts something on facebook because he has a shit ton of guys trying to be his new best friend on there. The board is not dead, Mac's desire to read or hear criticism is.
