Am I the only one that has no idea what this is about? Who's Alex French? Who's "World Wide Wes"? Is he a rapper?

1. Wes Wesley "pro mover and shaker" Met the man years ago at Golds Gym in Chicago, he was hanging with Rodman and Walter Rivers the owner. I was friends with Walter. Walter tells me that Wes is going to "Get him on Oprah, so I can get that fat pig to lose some weight". Word is that Stedman shut down that idea.

2. Alex French wrote an article in GQ about Wes. If you read my "Pump Brothers" thread from DePaul looking for a coach, Wes is a PAID consultant for Pump Bros. Wes makes sure the top 30 guys get to the Nike Camp, the Best Buy Camp, etc and Wes gets paid for that. Wes is the ultimate in connections. I went DEEP into my coillege connections and Wes had them all!

3. Most telling statement of the interview was "When Lebron said he has been spending summers in Chicago for 5 years, who do you think he was with?" and the "Derrick and Lebron have know each other all their lives..or at least since they could dribble and Wes found out about them"

hey bigfan, your signature is the essence.... as they say. i was seeing some stern-show outcasts do standup comedy the night of hte first hawks playoff game in mokena, of all places, and seeing all these yuppies carry on like they care about the hawks.... my lord. if/when lebron comes here, as much as we're supposed to disdain NHL/NBA competition topics, suffice to say that hockey will go back to being marginalized, even tho i confess it's the best live sport there is.... my uncle had season tickets in section M of the stadium in the 80s/early 90s (i think he got out the year after the presidents cup first round out, missing the loss in the finals year, but still, the man had foresight)
