Erin Andrews bedroom dance on Dancing in the Stars was totally inappropriate especially in light of what happened last year.

Why don't you have her on your show?

I've never heard of that show. What kind of transportation do they arrange for the contestants, judges and crew?

So Erin doesn't get a hat?

No hat for her. They will think Bearly Legal is a porn site if she wears the hat.

Get Melissa Lima on your next show and I guarantee you will boost your listenership.

I do agree with you, spada. She should wear snowsuits and turtlenecks everywhere she goes from now on. That creep that purposely stalked her and videotaped her was her last chance for dressing pretty!

please...she went on every talk that would have her talking about feeling violated. Now she is showing her ass and tits for the whole world to see. The only difference is she's making money off it now. Not excusing the creep, or discounting the violation of privacy she must have felt, but I feel a whole lot less sympathetic for her now after choosing to show her goods on national tv for a few bucks.

Key word there is choose. She didn't choose to be stalked/creeped/taped.

I know that. That's why I said I don't excuse any behavior on the creeps' part, or disount how she must have felt at the time...only said I feel less sympathy for her after her decision to flaunt herself for profit.

I don't know what's more gay about the above statement.....you admitting watching Dancing With the Stars or scolding a moderately attractive woman doing a bedroom dance. Probably the whole thing. Nothing you type surprises me anymore, although this is coming from the guy who thinks Reggie Theus should be the Bulls next coach because he coached a fictional high school basketball team to a championship.

If Pamela Anderson or Carmen Electra were being stalked and filmed they probably wouldnt like it either. The job has nothing to do with it.

Maybe it wasnt that a guy saw her naked, maybe that a guy was following her around and watching her every move.

She sells her body as part of her package. The stalker has no right to rob her of that.

What's GAY is you calling Erin Andrews "moderately attractive " I watch DANCING because I enjoy half naked women sweating to some music.

I just saw the bed dance thing that she did on the show and it's going to be difficult to ever take her seriously as a reporter. Maybe she doesn't care about that even if she says she does but she's basically the Danica Patrick of sports reporting. She uses her slightly above average skills at her actual profession and her comparatively good looks to her competitors to advance herself.

If Erin Andrews cant sell her sexuality because of a stalker, the terrorists have won by Slaughter rule.

Exactly! Bunch of Moint's arguing about the merits of the dance while I have to sit here with my limited creative abilities trying to imagine half nudity.

Erin Andrews has evry right to sell herself any way she wants, no matter what happened to her in the past.

On the other hand, I have an equal right to consider her a opportunistic hypocrite that deserves to be laughed off as a "serious" journalist. You can't cry about being overexposed and then overexpose yourself and still hope to be taken seriously.

If she makes it big as a result of everything, good for her, but I will always consider her to be a complete joke.

Funny how times change. When Walter Cronkite and his new wife appeared on the Newlywed Game and endured some ridiculous back and forth banter with Bob Eubanks, his journalistic credibility was not challenged.

Did he do this while he was scantily clad?

And one more thing, she is a sideline reporter...I've never taken a sideline reporter seriously. They spit back quotes from coaches and tell me why someone left the game. Might as well be an Erin Andrews type.

This.

Following up on what has already been touched on I think there's a big difference between her being rightfully upset about some creep filming her without her consent and making those images public and her being in control of what she puts out there for public consumption.

Has she actually ever said "I'm not a sex symbol, I'm a journalist and would like to be regarded as such."?

I don't see what all the fuss is about her doing that bedroom lyrical dance routine, big whoop! That's a typical costume or outfit for a routine like that. I'm surrounded by that stuff all the time since my wife is a choreographer, and I've seen way more scantily clad dancers than that. To me, she's just broadening her horizons. Everybody immediately thinks that she's selling her body and being a hypocrite by doing the Dances with Stars thing....not true, IMO.

Nothing she has done changes my opinion of her as a sideline reporter. Never thought she was great, and I'll still probably see her the same way (sideline reporting is overrated anyway). Does anybody actually take The Goose seriously?

Even if she were to pose for Playboy, I still wouldn't have a problem with her doing sideline reporting. Play by play or studio analyst....yeah, but not the sideline gig.

Most of them seem to be lesbians or bi-sexuals. Have a long story about her best friend, but I'll save that for the next bar night out.

She does have a couple straight, but most of them are married. I'd say about 85-90% of the dance population is burrito or half burrito.
