He was talking about "team score" and their softball game last night. Of course, he didn't play in the "real" game, and only played in the intramural game that broke out afterwards. He was bragging on how good he was because he could drop in base hits by hitting a blooper to left. Hey Larry, if you are that good of a softball player, you should be bragging about how you rake home runs, or at least doubles...not bloop base hits to opposite field. |

Now that's not true, Franky. The greatest hitters in softball history dumped the ball. I just doubt Larry is really very adept at it. |

Is LoHo as bad at softball as Al Bundy was in a 1991 episode of "Married...with Children"? |

I cracked up when Boers told him he was known as the "Edgiest Host" on the Score. He was running his "tough guy" game again even though it only involved on him playing on the "D" Team for softball. "I turned around and told the catcher...hey bro I would pull your outfielders in 'cause I'm gonna drop the ball in on peeps" "And than I did! 5000 times in a row!" |

Right because in the sideways world Lethal Larry lives in, the fielders see all 5'5 150lbs of Larry and immediately start backing up. |

It amazes me how much Larry loves to talk about these insignificant accomplisments and/or triumphs. It's as though he thinks people care or should praise him. Nobody loves Larry more than Larry. Nobody loves to talk about Larry more than Larry either. I never hear him talk about the great "Hamp and Holmes" show, however. He doesn't brag about that. |

I'd love to give him the Stelio Cantos treatment |

good dolphin wrote: Beardown wrote: [ . Nobody loves Larry more than Larry. ] I have a feeling the opposite is true.quote] Maybe. But he hides it well. This is what Larry doesn't understand. If Larry hated himself on the air, listeners would like him. Listeners don't like him cuz he's the exact opposite with his phony persona. |

He does not have to hate himself. The opposite is true. I've always said he just needs to embrace his inner Les. Les doesn't feel the need to either apologize nor exaggerate who he is no matter who tries to put him down. |
