Most noticeably, Bruce Levine, who has SERIOUS L-vocalization issues, is completely unlistenable, not to mention the fact that most of his insight is useless. Hearing Ted LILLY's name pronouced /WIWWY/ over and over makes it impossible to concentrate any any of the content being delivered by this dufus.

Sorry Bruce, no content, no delivery=get off the radio!

You sound like a child

I've never heard Bruce Levine ever sound like he had a speech impediment. Yeah, the veteran ESPN Radio 1000 reporter isn't getting any younger, but the guy who's most guilty of such a speech impediment is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and will tag team with Hub Arkush again this fall on 670 The SCORE's pregame show 3 hours before the Bears' games. He is "Stuttering" Dan Hampton.

SHARK,
Why do you hate Dan Hampton so much? You attack him on here all the time.

Rick, Dan Hampton may have been a really good football player for the Bears, but as a sports radio co-host and analyst on WBBM 780 and the Chicago Bears Radio Network in addition to his SCORE duties, he's a terrible listen.

Bruce doesn't sound like he has a speech impediment, just like he should live at Roscoe and Broadway.

Of all the people on the board, I saw this topic headline and felt rather indignant and came in here to say something along those lines and chastise you pricks for making fun of people and in turn congratulating those that you derided.

After reading the thread, I gotta say - it's a really good and valid question.

I dislike Bruce and think he is awful at his job... but I don't blame him for wanting to get in to radio with his voice. I blame whoever hired him and continues to keep him employed.

And lordy, do his "L's" bother the shit out of me.

Jay Mariotti also has a problem with his "L"s. Cold becomes "Code", Hold "Hode", etc. I think Mac once referred to it as "Pennsylvanian Dutch".

HAHAHAHA....Man I forgot I posted this topic, I was just in a fit of rage after hearing Levine say Ted Wiwwy 8 times in a row. But the way you guys took of and ran with this is absolutely priceless, I'm moved to tears of laughter. I also would like to make a disclaimer that in no way am I making fun of people with speech impediments, more the idiots who think it's a good idea to put idiots on the air.
