He deserves one. He's a former SCORE sponsor that knows the inside working of the radio station.

1. What are the ad rates at the station? I know they do package deals for a month or whatever with several different placings in different time slots. But what's the ballpark price of a drive time 30 second spot. Say the 8am hour or 5pm hour. That has to be the highest billing slot for ads.

What's the lowest ad rate? Say 8pm on a weekday when Larry is hosting and the Cubs, Bulls and Hawks are all playing. Or 2am when Les is hosting talking about his memories from some meaninless Cubs game in 1973.

I love Beardown! He's the Geraldo Rivera (old reference, I know) of CSFMB reporting and/or interviewing.

We NEED to know all of the inside dirt.

When's he going to go find Ed Schwartz's (older reference-beat that Eaglo) vault?

Agreed, I'm behind the notion that Spada's conspiracy theories, axe-grinding, and general annoyance has rendered Beardown irrelevant. So he's done some good.

1.Who was the biggest tool at the Score?

2.Who at the score was known for sexual harassment?

3.Who was the biggest coke head at the score?

4.What was the biggest scandal at the score that we never heard of in public.

I paid $55.00 for rotators 6am to midnight Monday to Friday. Rotators run when they have space and they need commercials to run.
I paid $10.00 for updates.

Bargains! $10 an update?!? Geez, for $250, you could have naming rights for the update desk. Another $250, and you get naming rights for the actual update guy (thinking of how Shorty George could've mangled that...)

David,

Can you solve this age-old CSFMB riddle?

If I'm not working at home, I get to my job via car, bicycle or a kind of transportation that at first glance may appear public, but is not.

How does that individual get to work?

I really don't understand the animosity towards Beardown that is repeatedly displayed here. Why does the anti-Beardown faction feel compelled to try and shout him down all the time? Is there something unusually offensive about his posts? Please help me out. My inquiry is sincere.

I would equate Beardown to The Fonz.

At first, it's kind of funny to hear him say "Aaaaaayy" the first couple hundred times but then, after a while, it's just an old guy in a weird jacket saying the same thing all the time.

Perhaps, but it seems like many here seem to regard him in accordance with Detective McClean's description of himself in Die Hard: "a fly in the ointment, a monkey in the wrench, a pain in the ass..."
