I tried calling Chris Rongey and Lawrence Holmes show on the Score this evening to talk about the Sox outfield situation but was told I am not allowed on the air. I wonder who made that call? What is this person afraid of?

Eh. Do you really want to talk to Rongey and Holmes?

I wanted to disagree with their assessment of Juan Pierre.

You are now in the same company as Mike from Westchester, and the Baron of Barrington, Joe Gentile

Again, why would a radio station be turning away people that want to advertise? Could there be more to the story? Beardown, care to take a break from "Team Bernstein?"

Probably fair, David. Who knows what a former advertiser might try to say on-air?

Am I shocked? No. Would I be shocked if Mitch has no such edict and the producer decided they didn't want you? No.

Do I have a point? I don't think so :-)

Come on? Lucky? Hanley has been around the Score since Day 1 and Mully was on often enough and he put the show together.

I think Mitch has been around long enough to know that over time a guys real personality will show on the radio and these guys work well togther.

A question..why would you be calling a station, to go on the air, that openly mocked you and cranked called you? That would be kind of like being fired from an employer, then going back and patronizing that establishment. But then again, I never understood many of your posts to begin with.

I dunno, Jeff. Somewhere, somehow, someone's shocked and amazed that David Spada wasn't allowed to call in to a Score show. I just don't see why David is shocked and why we're supposed to be shocked.

The only thing I can see is he's hoping some media writer picks on it and writes a one liner in a column. And even then, *shrugs*

You're starting to remind me of Sam Rothstein in the movie "casino"

I think you should try to get on Monsters and Money, juggle and challenge Mitch to a debate, assure him that you won't need to see the questions in advance.

Hey dumbfuck. Why didn't you just call and say you were "David on a car phone"? Do you really think that you're that big a deal that when you call in you have to say "this is David Spaeda - Ambulance Chaser"??

None, but to embarrass my wife a few weeks ago, I did wear some classic Bears Zubaz to yoga!

What, going to yoga wasn't already embarrassing enough?

Being a former resident of sugar grove I can not believe that there is such a thing as a beanbag game in aurora.
