Is this in general or is there something specific that is going on? I don't have access to a radio so I need some background |

Still some awkward moments, and I think I have picked up on some of DJ's attempt at humor bits. They won't work with Farmer though. They are miles ahead of where they were last year early in the season -that truly was awkward listening. I actually don't mind listening to them these days. Despite how he comes across on the air, I have heard that Farmer is truly a nice guy in person. If you really want to enjoy the Farmer and DJ broadcast, or at the very least, improve your listening experience, listen to Santo for a game or two then try the next Sox broadcast. Not an attempt at humor, it really did work for me. |

Today during transition, they played the tape of Farmer asking DJ if he saw the items in the national media about Phil Jackson coming back to the bulls? It was in every major paper and at the very least DJ, might have heard about it, thus Farmer expecting a simple acknowledgement that the story exists somewhere and DJ gives Farmer a big NO on the radio. Farmer then has to continue on by himself, thanks for playing DJ. |

What's up with people who pronounce Miami and Cincinnati, "Miamah" and "Cincinnatah"? |

They're goobers of Terry Bradshavian proportions, I guess. |

Farmer: Swing and a miss, and he turns around and asked the umpire if that would have been a strike. You ever ask if a pitch you swung at was a strike Darren? DJ: No. If you swing at a pitch it's a strike. Farmer: ... You had to hear DJ say it. He sounded disgusted at the question. |

There's seriously at least 3 times per game where Farmio asks some insane question and DJ comes back with the deadpan 'no'. |

Jumped in car today and it was bottom of 8th or top of 9...don't remember...but Farmer asked dj if he ever threw a knuckle-change or something like that and dj said no...never in a game but playing catch...then he said thanks for asking though. Just a really weird and awkward exchange. That's become the Norm for them I suppose. |

Farmer should be a game show host. He asks more questions than any PBP man I have ever heard. |
