OOgie wrote: Never liked the guy, even when he talks Bears, it's always with the tone of knowing more than everyone who ever calls up. His Bear criticism never started until he was fired from the 3 man booth. Then he started telling everyone how bad every move was. We can argue whether or not the football topic is what he does well, or not, but I don't think anyone is going to disagree with me that Hub is really bad when it comes to talking Cubs and Sox. Or golf or hockey. That's brutal sports talk. |

Standard Hub Bears answer: "(mini quick giggle) they might be good at ______, but if they are it's because someone else besides Angelo did something, but I don't think they will be good at ______" |

The worst radio segment I ever heard was Hub & Hamp together discussing Dancing With The Stars. It may have been the two least pop culture knowledgeable people ever put together, and they spent at least 2-3 segments talking about it. Horrible. But ESPN was running a national radio crapfest, so I stuck with the local guys. |

I know what you're referring, Douchebag, and it didn't seem necessary when Hub Arkush & Dan Hampton were talking about "DWTS", and Erin Andrews in particular. Those guys had a real problem with Erin appearing on the popular reality competition and at the time, Erin was under the microscope anyway with a creepy stalker peeping her. The creep may be serving 2 years in prison after pleading guilty, but late last week, Erin filed a lawsuit here in Chicago vs. the man who peeped her and a number of hotel chains such as Marriott & Radisson. She claims the hotel chains were neglient & invaded her privacy in giving the stalker info about whether she was staying and gave him her hotel room number and everything. |

... And they were. And not noticing any little peep holes drilled. (Thinking: interesting turn of events would be if they refuse lodging to any semi-celebrity because of extra liability. Although such perverts could as easily spy on... your wife or anyone else.) |

By the way, Hub's got another airshift scheduled. He'll be pinch-hitting for Laurence Holmes Wednesday night 6-8:35p in advance of Laurence guest hosting the "Lowe's Pregame" prior to White Sox/Mariners' game in Seattle. This according to the 670thescore.com online schedule. You've been warned. |
