Steve Cochran, whose decade at Chicago Tribune parent Tribune Co. ended about a month ago, looks to pop up for three hours this weekend on local sports-talk station WMVP-AM 1000.

"I will be on your radios this Sunday from noon-3 on ESPN 1000," Cochran told fans via his Facebook page Thursday, promising "it will be big fun, great guests" and he does not expect to name himself "the next manager of the Cubs."

EXCELLENT comparison! I never thought of that. Ed Tyll used to make my blood boil when I worked nights. He was a total asshat.

Bearly Legal>Sports Huddle & Stuff

It's on Tuesday's 11am-Noon, starting back Aug 24th. I'm not gonna lie, it's not very good, but it's a thing and we just want to have some fun. I'll post podcasts too in the Sports Huddle & Stuff thread.

Richfarmsystem(Eric) and one of the hated board members(stagecoach) is on it too. I tried to get him to apologize for his douchieness, but he doesn't want to come back. He just doesn't understand these here internutz sometimes.
