Post subject:  I lost my bet with Seacrest, north made it to Aug. 1, but
it doesn't look like north's future is very bright. From Rosenthal's column today--

"•Notably sitting out the local 4:30 a.m. shift, for now, is WBBM-Ch. 2. It's holding tight with CBS News' overnight "Up to the Minute," followed at 5 a.m. by the two-hour "Monsters & Money in the Morning," which it classifies as a non-news program to free it from news-department guidelines that might limit revenue opportunities.

Six months after its debut, "Monsters" is not exactly making waves. The roundtable talk show with headlines and weather hosted by Mike North, Terry Savage, Dan Jiggetts and Mike Hegedus typically attracts less than a 2 percent share of those Chicago homes watching TV.
"I give the producers and the on-air team high marks for execution," WBBM boss Bruno Cohen said the other day. "I need to see a higher rating to be optimistic about its future."
