ESPN Sunday Night Baseball already announced the suspensions from the brawl. 10 minutes later on the Score, still no mention...

Can't confirm, but WSI post said Levine also reported it

Hmmm...no one else is reporting the suspensions. I'm watching the Final Word now, and AJ hasn't heard anything about suspensions yet. I wonder where ESPN got their info. I can't find it on MLB.com or anything either.

I don't think MLB hands down suspensions/does paperwork on Sundays, so that may be why.

But they said (only Cubs known so far, White Sox probably tomorrow):

Barrett - 10 games

Mabry - 3 games

Also, ESPN TV said Derrek Lee for 5 games, but I guess Levine did it. This confused me at first, but may have to do with not being allowed on the field if you are on the DL (like Reggie Miller and the Detroit brawl)

Agreed. C'mon Nas, let's be realistic here. Barrett does that same thing on the street and he gets arrested for assualt, yet 10 games is too much? I'm not so sure.

the key is that is was a cheap shot....Barrett grabbed A.J., held him, then decked him. that's why the suspension is 10 games. Not because the fight was better or worse than fights in the past.

Score now saying that Barrett 'may' get 10 games, sounds like they're getting their info from ESPN, who has some inside information. Kind of funny when you think of those ads attacking the national station...

No one has the info. Its just rumor and speculation at this time. Offman said yesterday morning he talked to someone who said he would be shocked if it was less than 10. So go back to your cubicle at ESPN and jerk Spaceball off. Dont start shit just for the fun of it. Nothing is going to come out until the end of the week from the actual reports that i have read.

Great, but you layed into the Score like, they were missing the boat on the thing. If its just rumor and speculation then thats all it is. When there is something to report it will get reported. If the Score doesnt do it first, I bet they will have it within 5 min. Now im going to fuck off. Thanks
