Back in the late '80s, Chet used to host "Coppock on Sports" on the old AM 1000, pre ESPN Radio. Production voice at the time Matt Bisbee created quite a promo for "COS" where Coppock was interviewing the longtime Dodgers' manager and Chet was actually eating something...It was hilarious!

Tommy Lasorda was always one of Chet's favorite guys to interview. They not only talked about baseball, but Tommy always seemed to mention food and the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame whenever his Dodgers played at Wrigley Field back in the day... |
