I realize his evening show gets bumped by the Sox, but he has been on less and less.
He still fills in for other guys on vacation but my general sense is his visibility at the station has gone somewhat down.

Now I heard he will be the Score's main Bears reporter and travel with the team. Clearly this will intrude on his regular evening gig after the baseball season ends. The spin is that the current guy has to do these main duties for WBBM, but regardless of the reason, I don't see this as a promotion for LoHo, but rather as a demotion for a guy who wants a hosting career.

WTF are you talking about? I can't turn on the radio without hearing this little turd. He gets 20 hours a week filling in, he does bad Bears reports, and he has his own show. Once the Sox are done he'll be on every damn night.

His evening show will be most nights once the baseball season is over, and he's a regular fill in for both the Danny Mac and Boers & Bernstein show.

And let's not forget that there is Monday Night Football, and other NFL nightly shows with Hub and Doug.

I know he's been the regular fill in recently but that's because everyone is taking their vacations prior to the beginning of the football season.

but if he's going to be the regular Bears reporter and traveling with the team, are you sure he will still have his own show in the evenings?

He's on the fucking radio all the time. This week was the first week where I almost didn't listen to the Score at all, between Mac and Terry both vacationing (not together, as they politely reminded us).

I also can't tolerate Spiegs unless he is with Mac or Rosner.

Laurence Holmes getting sidelined at The SCORE? I'm not so sure about that, good people...His show will likely be bumped all this week due to White Sox baseball and the "Thursday Night Football" opener between the Vikings/Saints via Westwood One in New Orleans...

Mac is the opposite of Dick Jauron. It wasn't Jauron's show but he was on that show. It is Mac's show but he isn't on that show.

According to the 670thescore.com schedule, Laurence builds a bridge to the season premiere of "Sunday Night Football" on Westwood One between the Cowboys & Redskins at FedEx Field in Landover, MD. He's scheduled to follow the Doug Buffone/Ed O'Bradovich "Suburban Tire Postgame" around 6:30p Sunday night leading right up to Dave Sims, James Lofton & The SCORE's own Hub Arkush providing the national radio call.

I also heard that LoHo subs for Bernsy Thursday due to the Jewish holiday following the White Sox/Tigers' matinee...Consider yourselves warned.

Do Jewish holidays bother you?

What I meant by "consider yourselves warned" is that LoHo sitting in...By the way, Spiegs is also off Thursday, and the Jewish holiday is Rosh Hashanah.

It's a day where you're better off staying in, sort of like brothers on St. Patrick's Day. I wish I had access to the Ed Farmer mult for this thread. Well, any thread, really.
