Hampton thinks he's a "Clint Eastwood" type when it comes to radio. But he's really of the "Brokeback" variety, if ya know what I mean.  By the way, Hub apologized for Hampton's Gay slur and his Katrina comment on this mornings "Pro Football Weekly" radio show. |

He may be a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but Dan Hampton is the "Stuttering" John Melendez (When John was on Howard Stern) of Chicago radio. NBC5 might want to put this guy in his cage after the Cowboys & Redskins tonight...He's scheduled to join Paula Faris & the just as awful Daryl Hawks on "Sports Sunday" late night tonight...Hampton is flat out terrible! |

However, I don't think that was in the same "Pro Football Weekly" ep Hampton mentioned the Vikings/Saints in the same breath with Hurricane Katrina...

I know he probably had to do it to keep his job but I for one wish that just one fucking time ,someone would stick to their guns and NOT apologoize to every little fucking podunk group that finds something someone said offensive. Guess you have to go back to Harry Caray of all people for someone to not apologize who was under pressure to do so. |
