For those who haven't heard, he's been accused of forcing somebody to have sex with him. So his broadcasting career is over.

Maybe CBS doesn't replace him this year. They have enough people with Boomer, Cowher and Marino. Four ex players on the set is too crowded anyway. FOX and ESPN have the same problem. 3 players and a driver is more than enough.

These are plum jobs. Lots of guys want them. I think all of these guys get over a million for working 20 Sundays. Pretty good. Cowher will probably coach next year so another slot will open.

Nah it'll just be a matter of time before she forces someone to have sex with her too.

I'll take a wild guess and say Randy Cross will fill Shannon Sharpe's seat sandwiched in between Bill Cowher & Boomer Esiason on the "NFL Today" set. I think that depends in large part on whether or not he & Spero Dedes have a game assigned that weekend.

Wouldn't forcing someone to have sex with you be considered rape? With a sexual assault conviction added to his resume he should be a lock for the Hall of Fame. My choice for a replacement is Hunter Hillenmeyer. He should have plenty of spare time on his hands, and has shown no signs of having a speech impediment(yet).

I thought a speech impediment was a prerequisite for sports media.

After initially taking a leave of absence from CBS Sports earlier in the week, Shannon Sharpe and his big mouth will be on "The NFL Today" with James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason and "General Manager" Charley Casserly Sunday as scheduled after a last minute change of legal plans. Lou Holtz is the worst but luckily I don't watch all that much college football. I think I am so used to hearing Ditka talk that it doesn't really bother me gang!
