I'm sure this has probably been talked about on here before... and I'm sure it isn't that big a deal to some... but I'm bored!

I love that 670 doesn't have a strict wheel. I love that the show can go where it naturally will go. I love that really good interviews don't get interrupted, and can go over time when obvious follow up questions need to be asked. Heck, some of the funniest and best moments on Boers and Bernstein are when they get sucked so far in to a topic and they blow right past a break.

I hate when things get rushed on 1000. I hate when really good interviews end, when there is clearly more that could be talked about... simply because it's commercial time.

I just greatly prefer the 670 way. I know ESPN is locked because of the national updates, but I think it really drags things down sometimes.

Like I said, probably a non-issue to many, but I've been noticing it a lot lately.

Thanks for sharing Murph. I hope WIND hires you to go along with Mike North.

good example: abbatacola came on the ass-end of the people's hour at 9:58 and has been lecturing shake that ever since. it's 10:05....

then again, nobody really cares about this shift, hence the people's hour.

and the show ends with laurence impersonating a station meme "that's right brian paurch"

WORTH THE WAIT.

I think this is quite rare. You can pretty much set your clock to the fact that they break for commercials at :16, come back on at about :23 and break again at :34. After the :34 break it is basically all commercials until the top of the hour.

I must say, though, that I rarely listen live anymore. Once they got the podcast system squared away on their crappy website, I just fire up the podcasts. You don't have to suffer through the damn commercials.

One interesting thing about the podcasts--you can download "hour one"--for instance of Mully and Hanley. But of course an "hour" clocks in at around 36 minutes every time. It's crazy when 40% of your hour is taken up by commercials!

This is good and bad. Last night, as I had zero internet and zero TV service, had WSCR on and Holmes had Cowley and Goff arguing about who is a better Madden player???

Holmes as usual, trying to turn something nobody cares about into something, with decalring he will arrange a match and somehow get EA sports invovled? Simpley put, it was bad, real bad.

Matty though had time and thus had a great show. None of this "We are up against the time", producers lining up calls they think are funny, etc.
