Can't resist a Mike North listen on a Friday afternoon.

Now, I'm not very good with math so maybe one of you can help me out. I decided to check-in on Mike's picks for this weekend on his website. I noticed that he's +4470, which surprised me because I remembered a couple weeks ago when I was listening to his weekend show, he was about +3000 or so.

So, I went back to see when he'd done so well. Can somebody take a look at this -

What a strange man. What was he babbling about a real sports city has all of it's stadiums IN the city? Wasn't he the idiot running around wanting the Bears to move the Elk Grove site? Who decided that a real sports town is decided by actual stadium location, anyway? Is Houston better than NY or BOS or PHI because all of their shitty teams play within the downtown area? Cripe. Nice to see some footage of yet another failed North venture's set, though. As far as the gambling, I don't know how he can LIE SO MUCH. Gotta be tiring, right?

I forgot to check his picks before the weekend. So, I'll take him at his word that, while up +4070 jelly beans, he made one pick, Raiders +6 1/2, for 3000 beans. So, now he's up +7070 beans with 200 tonight on Jets -4. Maybe now he can pay back his phantom beans. Phantom Bean Count currently at +1,000.

i really think north is delusional. he can never admit that he fucked up his career. nobody close to him will tell him the truth either. hey mikey---if you really want to show us that you are a true gambler then call mac, give him $25,000, and bet REAL money on your picks. mac will lay down the bets for you and can keep track of the cash. But then you would be exposed for the fraud that you are right papsmear? that $25,000 would be gone as fast as you have fallen into obscurity, only to keep popping up with more of the same shtick on a different channel. At least go buy a calculator so you can correctly add and subtract your fake bets. or maybe that can be jen's new job for you other than running your "slurpee" machine.

It still amazes me how far this guy has fallen in such a short amount of time. He should have just sat out until he got another radio job. That's an L for his UNLV pick, which should put him at +6970 per his count. Listened to some of the show this morning. Jen Patterson on the show tomorrow night.
