On tonight's 10 o'clock news he said the Bears were 3 pt favs against Carolina. Oh Jimmy, Carolina is now a 1.5 or 2 pt fav. Not sure why this guy is still employed by Channel 7. I know the info was probably given to him, but wouldn't he think the Bears favored by 3, without Cutler, would seem wrong? He is a "sportscaster" after all.

But how many calls did you make in the last 30 mins to try and find the Jim Rose line? ;)

I used to like his pronunciations of Hockey players names.

Ask anyone who has worked with Jim what he is like. And then duck.

There could also be someone in charge of research at the Sports Dept. Could be on that person, too.

He's probably just like Burgandy... reads exactly what he gets.

Rose is still there, wow! I never had any issues with him. He's just as good as the other annoucers there in town. What's that now, 30 years or close to it in the Chicago market for him? Damn he must look old by now.

I saw him on tv last week. Hadn't seen him in years. My first thought was, "Holy fuck, that bastard looks old!"

While I would not mind watching a local sports segment, I have not seen one in years. 3 minutes is just not enough time to give me anything I already didnt know or have seen on ESPN, or COMCAST. Plus local casts always have to give me that fake transition conversation between anchors.

They need to knock down the weather from 4 minutes to 1 and increase the sports!

Weather "It was 76 degrees today, tomorrow it will be 60 at about 6 AM, then 77 at Midday and go back to 60.....then a basic 5 day outlook and talk about the upcoming weekend....show some tits (As all weather should be done by a hot chick) the fact that they still talk about the Barometer readings and then shows us the temps in 8 local cities all within 20 miles of each other is pretty ancient.
