WSOX will continue for another 5 years. Personally, as a cubs fan, I liked the Score a lot better when they were an independent. I PTFB on the station more than ever because of all the sox programming. http://www.suntimes.com/business/lazare/2858694,CST-NWS-lew03.article BY LEWIS LAZARE Media & Marketing Columnist The Chicago White Sox and CBS Radio Chicago's sports talk WSCR-AM (670) will announce as early as today that they have inked a new broadcast deal that gives WSCR exclusive radio rights to air all White Sox games -- more than 160 a season -- for the next five years. The new contract extends by another five years the first five-year deal between WSCR and the White Sox. Prior to moving to WSCR, the White Sox were heard on ESPN Radio's sports talk WMVP-AM (1000). Sources say WSCR is expected to stick with its current team of on-air talent for White Sox games, including pre- and post-show host Chris Rongey and the game play-by-play announcer team of Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson. The White Sox have not performed up to their World Champion standard the past several seasons. But the baseball team remain an important sports franchise in the city, and WSCR negotiated long and hard to ensure the White Sox remained on board at the station. |

bleech. as a sox fan and an WSCR fan, i hate this. the radio broadcast team is brutal so listening to that is not an option. i bet B&B are excited. more time off for them in March. |

Farmer and Jackson could very well be the worst broadcasting duo in baseball. |

I'm a Sox fan, but I was hoping they'd go back to AM 1000. |

I just hope Mitch put in the Bears post game trumps Sox post game if the Sox are more than 9 games out in Sept |

I find I ptfb whenever a game comes on the radio. I only tune into to BBM to get Joniak's call, but then have to deal with the picture being out of sync with the call. I guess it brings money, so yay. Personally, I'd prefer the regular shows |

(illegal in some countries) i would listen to panther piss talk about last years sperm collection |

Thank god, Farmer and DJ get on my nerves, but I love being able to hear Sox games over such a wide radius. |
