Say it ain't so!!!!
I noticed Mitch is going with more of the nicer sports show hosts on the weekends. At least in the day. Grote replaced Paruch on the Saturday show with Rosenbloom. Finfer does the shift before that show. Mike Espisito is getting some weekend shifts too. Grote, Espisito, Finfer, and even Ranger are in the same mold as the recenly departed Paruch. Safe, pleasant, well spoken, non threatening, college educated (probably all of them from good schools), white people in their 30s.
These SCORE people have less of an edge and aren't as hateful. They don't view sports radio as going into war with callers. People that don't really bitch about their station and cry about being wronged by their station. They're not gonna let you know which co workers they hate. They're not the type to tell you how tough they are or how many women they get. They don't take any rage from their personal lives to the air. These guys aren't the type that are waiting to say "fuck you" to callers. They don't say anything too offensive. They don't try to be the "shock jock" type. They don't come off as ass holes. They're not going to do the "dirty sex joke" and "race joke" thing. They just want to do the sports talk routine and go home. Generally pleasant and happy people on the air.
Why has Mitch gone this direction?
Edit: Now Matt Rowdawald is doing the Saturday Night show. Another one cut from that same cloth.
What's happening to the SCORE? They're going away from angry white hosts.
