On the Bearly Legal podcast hosts former Chicago Bear Robin Earl, Chicago Sun Times columnist Elliott Harris, and me talk to NFL Hall of Famers Deacon Jones and Forrest Gregg. When you’re talking about the best defensive ends of all time, you have to include Deacon Jones in the conversation. We’ll get his take on where he thinks he stacks up among the best, what he did to revolutionize the position, and how the position has changed throughout the years. Vince Lombardi called Forrest Gregg the finest player he ever coached. With six championship rings, it’s not hard to understand why! We’ll talk to Coach Gregg about his amazing career, the state of the NFL, and about Mike Ditka, both as a teammate and opposing coach. Go to http://www.injuryinillinois.com |

This nonsense you are trying to force down are throats is truly pathetic. I can only understand this if you are getting autographs from these guys and hawking them on e-Bay. |

Board members complain when I interview athletes who were not big enough stars in their eyes. I interview Hall of Famers and this is not good enough. Some of you are never satisified. |

1. Offensive linemen need to bend at knees not waist to achieve leverage. 2. Less injuries if tackle properly instead of using body as missile. 3. If you don't practice tackling will miss more tackles in games. |

So I actually went and listened to this. Why the hell not? Forrest Greg sounded old and half asleep. Deacon was alright. I think everyone gives this guy shit because he rolls with north, but they were actually prepared for the interview and sounded 100 times more professional than north. Whether its interesting or not depends on if you know the guest and or want to hear what they have to say. I wouldn't say its bad though. |
