Seriously, does it always have to be him? Can Mitch try to get a Bear that actually plays in the games. Last year they had a rotation of Bears on this show.

I think it stinks that he has to be on a radio show that promotes a team that will not play him. That being said, he's the best all around tight end on the team and I can't understand why he doesn't get a chance to play. He dropped a touch down seven weeks ago, get over it. Olsen misses blocks on a weekly basis and Manumaleuna has been an entire waste of money. I could understand his benching if the other ones were getting it done, but they aren't; give someone else a chance to get something done. He cannot possibly worse than the other two are at times.

what else does dez have to do? i believe it was the green bay game where on a goal-to-go play at the 1 yard line (i'm pretty sure that it was either 3rd or 4th down, leaning towards 4th) and martz was the smartest guy in the room by calling a perfect play action to dez who managed to not turn around quick enough and had the ball go in between his legs or something (i was in the south endzone so the play was literally across the field from me)

after that, desmond has had a nagging case of inactivitis which has plagued him all season long. maybe desmond hit "the wall" and all of a sudden his skillset has diminished to the pount where he's utterly pointless... maybe he decided that this year he don't need no stinking playbook and he kindly advised martzy-poo where he could get some lesbian tang... or maybe it's all part of a conspiracy that runs deeper involving roswell, the kennedy assassination, african blood diamonds, and sports talk radio.

clearly, dez has spun his perpetual willingness to do sports talk into what he hopes is a bright future in the industry. i've heard people on the board slag off on dez and his endless serenade of the word "uhhh/m" so maybe his future isn't as bright as it seems... but hey, he's sir larry of shake that's boy, so this undoubtedly means that he has some pull at the citywide leader.

If dez is doing a talk show I should be a ballerina!

It does sound awkward that a guy who RARELY plays anymore for the Bears since the Steve Dahl/Roger Ebert-looking Mike Martz took over as Offensive Coordinator continues to co-host "Miller Lite's Top Draft Show", whether it's with LoHo, Hub Arkush or Jason Goff, as was the case last night...You'd think there are other Bears who wouldn't mind blowing off ZZ and that idiotic "Bears All Access" show The SCORE airs Thursday nights and join LoHo, Hub or Jason on one of these "Top Draft" live broadcasts. Then again, another guy who rarely plays these days, linebacker Pina Tinoisamoa, continues to be heard down the dial on ESPN Radio 1000's "Football Night in Chicago" Tuesday night...
