Post subject: | The Ultimate Lineup? |
I don't know if a thread like this has been done in the past, but I thought I'd get everyone's ideas on this. Let's say you can have anyone on your Chicago sports station set the lineup.... Now I'm not saying I like Mike north or anything, but I think this would be good. I'd like to see everyone else's ideas. WEEKDAYS 5am-9am Mike North & J Hood....I think this would actually be entertaing...maybe I'm wrong 9am to Noon Silvy & Carmen.....Yes, I know, you're shocked. Noon to 3pm Bernstein, Rosenbloom, and Harry.....Lots of Sarcasm and I think it would be either really different and cool...or a COMPLETE flop. 3pm to 7pm Mac, Jurko, and Boers.....I think I'd find Boers enjoyable again. 7pm - 10pm JD, Hood, and Mulligan....I like JD and Hood and think this is a good slot for them....Mulligan would be ok here. 10pm to Midnight Jime Rome and Sean Salisbury.....Imagine this one. Two guys who are never wrong going face to fcae. Probaly one will get punched in the face and suspenions would occur at some point. Either way, we win. If I had to take any other national programming I'd take Dan Patrick however, he would have to have KO in studio the whole time. Patrick would not be allowed to ever go solo. Weekends... Chicago Cubs Sports Talk Show....Bruce, Stone, and Mike Murphy Sox Talk....Carmen, Hood, and Bruce Obviously we all have different opinions of whats good and bad, so I'd like to know what you'd guys do. |

Law firm or radio show? Either way, the ratings would be awesome in Skokie. |

I think Hood might have a problem with your schedule. 5-9 THEN 7-10? This has been done before, but with all the newbies we might hear some new ideas. Finally, no offense Ryan, but I don't think I'd tune into your station much. |

Haha, thanks...Ooops..Hood wouldn't be used to working that much at all! ha Alright, I have to move to 7-10 shift out and put Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann for 3 hours. A7X, what shows would you want? |

I love the "Three Jews Midday Show." After the show they can all got to an early bird dinner and order a piece of white fish. I agree and have long said Mac, Jurko and Terry would be a great show. The fire from the HFC and the "10-years in the league" of Jurko would be a good listen. Plus, on a personal note, I would like to hear Terry be Terry again and not the mutation that he has become with Bernstein. As for the rest of the lineup, I will be tuned into Sirius for the rest of the day. |

Here's my line up if I'm king for a day: 6-10 Steve & Garry (Bruce Wolf updates)- I know it'll never happen, but it's my dream. 10-2 North & Bernstein- That would be some polarizing radio. 2-6 Boers & Mac- Were putting the band back together! 6-9 Mully & Mariotti- Opinionated? You bet! 9-12 J Hood & Joe Bartosch- I always liked their chemistry when Joe was Hood's update guy. 12-6 Les Grobstein- Friend of both graveyard shifters and alcoholics. I still miss him. As for weekends- Carm & Silvy, Matt Spiegel, Holmes, Drinky & Goff, JD, and Steve Silverman in some sort of configuration. And of course, Doug & OB after EVERY Bears game. (f*ck hockey and f*ck Jesse!) |

I like this. We could now call him Mutant Terry until he finally gets a new partner and has a real thought. |

I think Greg and I would actually have a pretty entertaining show and probably end up agreeing more than we thought, but yea...there'd be some fun feuds. |
