L.Holmes On the O'Reilly Factor!!!!

Yep, I was suprised to see this, talking about the Ozzie Guillen story...Holmes was articulate, but early on failed to get his point across, but overall, was ok.

Check it out if you missed in on the 10:00 PM CT rerun....Flip it on around 10:20 PM, he's on sometime between then and 10:40 PM.

You may not like him, but his show is the top rated cable news show so it was a good opportunity for Holmes....

News? Not really. But you're right, it's still a nice opportunity for Larry. Good for him. Should make for a good baseball blog tomorrow.

More people tune in to Spike O'Dell on a daily basis, than watch the O'Reilly factor on any given day.

To put it further into perspective, WWE Monday Night Raw consistantly comes in as the most watched program on cable TV for a given week. and they're pulling a 3.5 share on a good week.

You're right Crumbs, I stand corrected. I am too drunk to remember the exact numbers, and too lazy to check. As the saying goes: act in haste, repent in leisure.

You look at a show like the Soprano's. It's incredibly popular for a cable TV show. I imagine it's numbers are lower rated than most bad sitcoms on regular networks.

I thought Holmes would be arguing with O'Reiley about the brilliant Op-Ed peice former Tribune Editor Don Wycliff had in the Tribune yesterday

Um, 2,149,000?....Monday Night Raw has about an average of 4-5 million people watching it on a weekly basis.

What's that got to do with your claim Spike O'Dell has more listeners?

My wife is a big OReilly watcher and she said 'some black guy from the Score was on OReilly' and he sounded smarter than any of the white guys on the score I listen to.

I just scratched my head in disbelief.

My wife is a racist.

...but for her to be impressed by anybody from Chicago sportsradio is saying quite a bit.

Holmes did present himself really well. I think he was trying to be a little to self-important with his desire to start a conversation around the country about whether the word Guillen said was acceptbable, but well spoken and well dressed.
