Sure, North *looks* prolific on his youtube site with 5-6 posts daily. But most of the bits are about 1 minute long.

It is pretty obvious that no rehearsal is going into the shoots and that they are all done in one take. A day's shooting at the Mike North Entertainment Network takes 30 minutes, tops. Tack on maybe another 30 minutes to put the sponsor graphics in and upload the bits to Youtube and you're talking about an hour's "work" each day.

Even though this is nothing in terms of work, I am wondering when the whole novelty is going to wear off for North.

He is getting about 5 viewers per post. He can't even persuade Spada to join his "network." The "Daily Coppock" has one posting from last month. They also have had "part one" of some horrible cooking show with BeBe and her sisters up for weeks with no subsequent episodes in sight.

The whole enterprise is pretty damn depressing. It is going nowhere.

Of course North has had a long history of short-lived enterprises, but they usually are cut short by his financial backers--whether its Comcast, his felonious friend David Hernandez, Rich Melman, etc...

In the current disaster, Mike is his own boss. The costs for what they are doing are basically negligible (low-traffic webhosting and a PC with editing software), so there will be no real financial reason to pull the plug on the network.

Calling it quits will only come when North has realized that this enterprise is a failure. As we know, however, North always blames someone else for his problems.

The question, then, is how long can he stand keeping up these pretenses of his relevance in the face of utter failure? Secondly, if/when he does pull the plug who will get the blame?

I'm thinking that if this thing is still running by the end of May it will be a miracle.

The Answer is when the next sucker (or sponsor) bites on his next idea he is trying to sell to them right now.

Knowing North, he has directed Spaceball to go try and sell to female oriented businesses. Hey, they never heard of him, maybe they will bite?

I don't think anyone will bite on him again, at least agree to support one of his "ideas". I have said it before, but now, he seems done. North isn't looking for a gig so much as he is that big payday, he wants the money and that just isn't going to happen, he has been exposed now.

But he bought a round of beer once at a remote!!!!!!!!!

Hoping that this place will have some $5 and $10 tables, but I am guessing this place will be so crowded that $25 will be the min. bet at most table games. and yes north is probably counting on this place giving him his own studio. it would not surprise me in the least if he is a big part of it unfortunately. his ass-kissing of the stephens family is finally paying off.
