Not to be a Mike North apologist but I've always thought that those "viewed" numbers couldn't possibly be correct.

Between the people here, North's people themselves, likely the sponsors, and the couple others that actually check them out because they like them, there must be at least 20 views per.

I know I've viewed them and it has still said 0 views in the past.

Unless, that just meant that Mike North has 0 views on his topics and has nothing to do how many times the video was played.

Has anyone checked out the "Daily Coppock"? Chet is beating Mike at his own game,on his own website. Very smooth presentation with graphics and video clips. At least Chet is trying.

Yep, it's pretty funny. Chet still has some interesting opinions. I thought his weekend show on Sporting News Radio a few years ago was pretty good. I'm surprised a station like WIND wouldn't have a spot for him at least on the weekends. Given some of the things in his past though, he's probably not the easiest guy to hire. Too bad.

I just checked this out on Mike North's website for the first time. He says he does in 5 minutes what takes other stations a half hour to do. He says you can impress your friends and co-workers with what you can learn from this "show." Here's what my five minutes from his Friday broadcast got me - Shaun Gayle is just as culpable as the woman charged for the girlfriend's murder. We need the death penalty. There was a tsunami in Japan and he bets most people never heard of a tsunami before this. He bets that Charlie Sheen won't have a million tweets by next year, down from his 2.4 million. I think he meant Twitter followers. Rob Lowe is better looking than Charlie Sheen. Eddie and Jobo are back. It's great when stations go back to the old school ways (Hint! Hint!). Sports - There is plenty of NBA action this weekend. In March? What a news flash! Weather - It keeps getting better. In spring? Hard to believe! Damn! My friends and coworkwers are really going to be impressed with me now!

how soon mikey forgets that 2 short years ago, he declared the web was the future, sportswebio will be the greatest thing since sliced bread, radio is dying, etc...does nort have any dignity/creditability left? if sportswebio was such a great idea, why doesn't north front the cash to start it up again? i don't think there is a media outlet that is left for nort to fail at. radio-check, tv-check, newspaper-check, web-check, literary(I know, this one is a stretch but he did publish a book)-check, cinema-I think some idiot filmmaker put nort in an independent film, can't remember the details, maybe mikey can be a street preacher or bring back vaudeville

says he comes up with fresh stuff everyday what did he mean when he says that his advertisers paid their bills? that they have integrity, are some not paying him? I still don't know why ANYONE would give him a nickel for the shit he produces, especially since he has ZERO ratings. Many times YT updates the view counts every 24 hours. Many times its not as instant as just a click and watch. I posted a video two days ago that had zero views then magically had over 2000 in an hour. Its more the sites lag then anything. The best guestimate is to check the video in a day or two to get a good understanding of exactly just how much trafffic its getting considering I would think his insight screen is off limits as to the real numbers his steaming pile of shits gets. His stupidity is actually thinking his audience is stupid, end of. The view numbers he sees are bloated compared to the actual numbers from unique viewers the actual video has. Theres no doubt in my mind he is refreshing his videos for hours thinking he is getting 1000+ views per, only thing is if one other person is actually watching them, then his view number is a robust 2, and he doesnt understand that. Somebody should tell him to hide under a proxy and then go to his channel and see the actual counts. Iam almost positive he has no clue what his numbers are and is refreshing his own pages showing off to BeBe thats his latest video is a hot "Rebecca Black"- like scortcher thats taking the site by storm when in fact his actual numbers are along the lines of some retarded childs web cam talking about his trip to the fucking library, and I apologize to putting a retarded child in the same sentance as a fucking genius like Nort. Look at his videos, he is trying desperately to get Sterns attention, and failed, Sheen only got his post counts to about 20, the idiot is a sad sack. 800+ videos and he doest even have a 100 hit average, thats fucking pathetic. How in the hell he gets sponsorship is beyond the realm of coherant thought. He couldnt even get a partnership with Google with those numbers. Cup- Face the facts, Nort. Very interesting video. I think I started a thread about a month ago predicting he would fly the white flag in May--I shouda picked the under (Where's the bookie priest when you need him??) Did anyone else get the sense that there was literally someone standing off camera (stage right) with a gun to his head making him give his concession? He kept on nervously looking to his right like he was a prisoner on an Al Quaeda video. The funniest part for me is that he is announcing that he's trying out to be the WBBM traffic reporter. What a step down. The WBBM thing is basically a marketing gimmick playing up on the whole American Idol-type new talent search. Of course North has no chance at this, so he is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. He really sounded desperate--like a guy who is about to throw himself in front of a Metra train. What a pathetic display.

I'd still tune him in before any show on MVP, Mully and Hanley, or LoHo though.

North's fall is unprecedented. Not too long ago he was pulling down 7 figures in radio, now he's shilling his wife and sister-in-law's cooking "show" on a web site that can't get 3 figures in views. Yikes.
