Per DJ, when a team is doing as bad as the Sox are they have no pressure on them? Because they hit rock bottom and they relax and thats when really big things happen. This is what DJ expects for today, Sunday! I would think a better analysis of this game is scoring, or even hitting early, v Scherzer. Great talent, kinda nutty, but if he gets locked in early look for scattered 5 hits, 8 K's 2 ER allowed. But even when you get to him early, with a leadoff hitter on, stolen base, score that run, it gets to the kid. |

Ozzie's recipe for breaking a losing streak: empty the bench. |

The Sox look like a fucking clown team when they get one of their rare baserunners and immediately send him running toward a near certain erasure before he reaches second. It's embarrassing and I'm sure their opponents are all laughing. |

I dont have the Sox running % in front of me, but all the Baseball geeks say if you dont have 70% success rate it's counter productive. To Ozzies defense, you almost have to run with Pierre. It's the only reason you have him. |

http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/batting/sort/stolenBasePct/type/expanded/order/true 56% is probably counterproductive |

Both Williams and Guillen have been at the same Blackjack table too long....2005 may as well be 1917 now. |
