It is pretty pathetic when you have to try and ride the coattails of a has-been like Steve Dahl, but Northy decided that he has to step up his game by promising us a "big announcement" in two days. It came within the context of the Dahl announcement to charge $10/month for podcasts. North 'respectfully disagrees" with the Dahl model, claiming his advertisers are the ones keeping the mighty Mike North Entertainment Network afloat. How do you get the advertisers to have faith in you: "you got to give the listeners something different every six months." Since he has been on seven months giving the same shit, I guess the announcement on the 14th is going to be big. What's it going to be? What will Mikey's great announcement? |
