Higest rated host on the Score, and the only host to beat WMVP. http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/beatw ... column=cox |

It probably hasn't hurt him that the only alternative to his blather is Alex Rodriguez/Yankee talk, or "fill-in of the week." How many vacation days has DP had during this last ratings period? I even would rather listen to Murph than hear the East Coast talk radio. Somehow I think that a local show competing against Murph might make his numbers look a little more realistic. I wonder how much of his number is B&B's first hour? I also find it hard to believe that Seannycakes has any listeners, too. |

I hate Murph as much as anyone, but he's winning, and that is all that matters |

if the great murph has do many fans, why not put him in a primetime slot for 4 hrs ? because against good competition he would get lower ratings. |

Hmm, maybe... Personally I'd prefer his show after 6pm, but with the Sox and Hawks, there's not much open broadcast time. So whose slot do you give him? Norths or take Mully/Hanley's slot? |

It's amazing around this board sometimes.. Let me first say I don't listen to Murphy for a lot of the reasons stated on this board, but give the guy some credit. He's pulling in good ratings....You'd guys be dumping on him if his ratings stunk, and you're still dumping on him when his ratings are the best at the station. What gives ? |

Because it's like being the tallest midget. And he's still a clown. |

Beating Dan Patrick in the ratings is like winning a Special Olympics race on a jet bike. |

I'd prefer his show after 11:30pm on nights when I can't sleep. The guy is boring as hell. Credit where credit is due, apparently he's pulling in the numbers so I can't knock him for that. I can knock him for being dull and un-entertaining though. |

bring back murph on nights once the sox season is over. and put dougie and his football talk at noon. specialty show would only need two hours. |

There's no way you can ever take Murph off the air for the simple fact that it provides too much classic fodder for Dand and Terry. Terry's not-so-subtle potshots at Murph have me rolling. |
