Last night, heard the first 15 minutes of les's show, then fell asleep.

Woke up at 4:45, caught the last 15 minutes.

Yeah, I guess it's kinda like sleeping with Les... :shock:

Les has become a painful listen for me. Him constantly trying to out do the callers gets real old. Its like the Kristen Wiig SNL character Penelope, He always tries to one up & big time the callers. Drinky would be the perfect overnight host, but Les is a member of the tribe so hes probably safe & secure.

Les is great overnight.

He has a soothing voice and his condescension toward callers who question his knowledge is hilarious.

I sleep with Les every night.

Les is more than fair to his callers, but he's not gonna just sit there and accept utter stupidity. Many (not all) of his callers wouldn't even make it on the air with Mac or B&B.

As far as Les arguing stats with callers, I'd bet any money that Les is right about 97% of the time.

Thats not what he meant Jeff Ive slept with Grobber dozens of times. He tries to outremember his callers (he's right 72% of the time) and since Les essentially uses his callers as a co host so its even more annoying.

If a caller to Les' show is discussing stats or telling a story, Les will just interrupt him & talk over him to prove that he remembers & knows more than the caller. Other than Bernsey, I have never heard another radio host do this. I used to be a big Les fan, but not so much anymore.

Hmmm...guess I have noticed it that much. Heard a guy last night suggest that The Bears just release Matt Forte. Les was about as even keel as anyone could be about that. As far as Les arguing stats with callers, I'd bet any money that Les is right about 97% of the time.

The devil is in the details, if somebody makes a statement about a player doing really good for one season when he was actually a bum it might make you take the time to look it up. If that same person tells me the year and the players relevant stats I just assume they know what they are talking about and that I misremembered it. If you do that often enough people think you are smart when really you probably pull shit out of your ass almost half the time.

I drive home from work with Les on every night, unless a late Sox game of course. I'll stick in at least the 90 something percentile on him being right about stuff. Nobody's perfect.
