Chuckles is doing 3 hours tonight on WMVP, 7-10. I used to listen to him when he was a kid on the Loop.

Chuck Swirsky is terrible and looks like a child molester. I'd rather hear Bill Wennington.

Another bad sign for Hood. He is sliding down the pecking order at ESPN 1000. He's now the backup to the backups. :shock:

Chuck Swirsky hosting sports talk is nothing new. Besides hosting shows back in the day on 720 WGN & Detroit's WJR-AM when he was also the PBP of University of Michigan basketball, "The Swirsk" also hosted shows during the 10 years he was the voice of the NBA's Toronto Raptors before replacing Neil Funk a few years ago as the radio voice of the Bulls. With the NBA still very much in a lockout, this might be the only steady work Swirsky might have for the immediate future on ESPN Radio 1000.

Rejected. :) I listened to a fair amount of MVP when da bool were relevant and they would have Swirsk, Wennington, King and Funk on (actually for the entire show a couple of times iirc). Stacey King was a good listen. That would be my choice. Swirsky wasn't horrible either. In order I would go King, Swirsk, Wennington, Funk.

I have posted it before, but hooked up my stepbrothers 8 track stereo system in my room that he got rid of. Scanned the Am stations one night and got some lady bitching about her sons traveling soccer team not being treated well. This was on Swirsks WCFl, AM 1000 show late on Sunday nights.!
