Yeah. That's about right. She probably tried fishing around for other media gigs and got rejected quickly. That's when she realized there were no more Mike North's out there and it hit her she had no talent to be on camera or radio. I wish her luck. I know she wanted to be famous but so do a lot of girls. She had her 15 minutes. Is she still dating that blackhawk? Does he live in Arizona? Is that why she's out there? By the way, do you think she keeps in touch with North? The answer is most likely "hell no". She will never speak to him again. |

It bothers me she did not capitalize or do more. She could have used all those opportunities to become good. Yeah why Arizona? |

Booyah!!!! Nick Boynton's wiki page says he spends his offseason at his Phoenix home. That's why she's there. It also says Nick is a single father with 2 daughters. ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Boynton |

Nothing screams 'professional' in the world of real estate quite like a black-and-white t-shirt picture. |

Cause there is nothing more that I want than a real estate agent that is new to the area and spends part of their time there! Actually DT, one of Chicago biggest companies has only BW pics. Makes ugly look better, |

Spaulding wrote: Bear, if he is a single father I'm betting he has custody. ![]() Why? I say no cuz Jen, just a hunch, wouldn't want to be a full time mom and because he's playing hockey 6 months a year. Is he still with the Flyers? Does Jen stay at his Phoenix home while he plays? What the hell is she up to? Is North advising her on this? ![]() |

The way that is written makes it sound like it's a single father with no one else in the picture but you could be right. |

I know I'm an outsider but I've seen movies about girls like Jen. This is gonna end badly. She needs to stop having famous/celebrity men in her life with the illusion of fame, glory and the high life for herself. Leaving her hometown & family to go to Arizona to follow a dirty, journeyman, 4th line hockey player with 2 kids coming off following North's weirdness for years? It won't end well. Just my prediction. Hell, dating him in the first place was the reason she lost her Comcast job and made her lose all credibitlity in the Chicago media market. |

"Jen's desire to help people also translates into other aspects of her life. She has been an active volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She also enjoys hiking, yoga, dining and playing with her dog, Chewie." Well, golly gee, I want to buy a house from her after knowing this. If she enjoys hiking, yoga, dining and playing with her dog she must be straight up about the house I'm about to buy from her. |

Right click and View Image to see the resolution that it is trying to squeeze together. |

The pay is not great but I cannot imagine selling real estate in a depressed market is paying bills either. |

Maybe, Dolphin. Maybe it just gets her out of that whole sportsaroo field altogether, away from her media history in Chicago. It may be a good time for real estate training. |

Spaulding wrote: It bothers me she did not capitalize or do more. She could have used all those opportunities to become good. Yeah why Arizona? What exactly were her opportunities? As I recall, she was never a beat reporter or co-host. Wasn't she just a producer/coffee girl/studio slut for North? It's simply amazing that nothing ever came of that. |

She isn't articulate and doesn't have much sports knowledge, so why would anyone want to hire her? Did anyone ever think she was anything more than North's de facto personal call girl? |

Post subject: | Re: Jen Patterson joins the real estate game? |
Following up on the notion that Jen lacks the skills necessary to become a communications professional, I think we should take note of the manner in which her bio is written: Quote: Being the daughter of a Custom Home Builder & a Real Estate Agent, Residential Real Estate was a natural fit for Jen Patterson. Following a successful media career in Chicago, it was time to take her knowledge, creativity, motivation, plentiful contacts and strong work ethic and put it to the test in the Arizona Real Estate Market. Jen's curiosity for real estate began at an early age when she started going to work with her father. After graduating from Columbia with a Journalism degree and working in media, Jen realized her combined skill set could effectively be entwined with her passion for the ever-changing, fast-paced real estate industry. Jen learned to really listen to her clients, which helps to achieve the ultimate goal of finding a perfect property and negotiate the best value. She is committed to providing the same dedication for her listings, ensuring that every one of her sellers is kept constantly informed and gets the best possible price for their property. Jen is excited to combine her knowledge, passion and earnestness with HomeSmart's exceptional and innovative marketing and customer care to continue providing the best experience for her clients, both buyers and sellers. She loves to meet new people and believes that it is important for everyone to have fun while engaging with clients to achieve their very serious real estate goals. Jen's desire to help people also translates into other aspects of her life. She has been an active volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She also enjoys hiking, yoga, dining and playing with her dog, Chewie. She writes like a typical college freshman at a third-tier college before he or she has taken an introductory composition class. There's no way anyone is hiring her for a PR job anywhere, especially not at a professional sports franchise in a major media market. |

So Jen is the daughter of a custom home builder?? That "splains" the $60K Northy spent on blue prints. |
