From the Sun-Times today:
In the end, Rover blamed his failure here on everyone but himself. Mostly, he pointed to management -- he singled out Drew Hayes, vice president of programming at WCKG, whom he'd nicknamed "Drewpolian." "We weren't just on different pages," French said. "We were in different libraries."

Rover didn't bash management to the degree that Feder would have you believe. While he obviously sounded frustrated that things didn't work out, he never criticized the type of show he felt management wanted; he just said it wasn't his style. Should he have put more of the blame on himself for the show's failure? Probably, but then he would be admitting that he sucks to listeners in other markets where his show still airs.

I can understand the decision to replace Rover, but how the hell does Drew justify the decision to give Stan and Terry an extra hour? Their ratings aren't exactly anything to write home about.

I listened to Stan and Terry once. Once.
